Licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Mississippi, Amy is a closing Attorney and leads our commercial property division. For commercial clients Amy’s adept contract negotiation skills ensure even the most complex transaction is completed cost effectively and without a hitch. Amy is most at home in the closing room putting clients at ease while making sure they leave more knowledgeable than they came in. Agents rave about her Closing 101 and 102 classes as invaluable, practical, and just plain fun ways to learn about real estate. Amy completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi in 2007 and obtained her law degree from the University of Mississippi in 2009. Before bringing her talents to the Home Surety team, she practiced general litigation and family law in Mississippi. Upon moving to Tennessee she transitioned to work in nonprofit but ultimately her heart led her back to practicing law.
Amy is a native Memphian and enjoys spending her time supporting local theatre as an Administrative Judge for the “Ostrander’s” which is the Memphis equivalent of the Tony’s! Amy is also married to a talented, professional woodworker named Patrick.
